If you could only choose one album to exemplify what electronic music is in 2020, “7G” should certainly go to the desert island with you. And let’s be honest, Cook’s take on these timeless songs is not particularly what you’d expect. It just seems that when tackling anthemic classics like “Beetlebum”, “Today” or “Chandelier” you can never win. While the covers seem to get some shit online they are far from being bad or lazy.
